Journey into the Himalayas with one of the region's top climbers, women leaders and activists, National Geographic Adventurer and Explorer Wasfia Nazreen.

Join us on a journey to the heart of Mount Everest, known in Nepali as the Mother of all Oceans (Sagarmatha) and in Tibetan as the Mother Goddess of the Universe (Chomolungma). These 15-day Himalayan treks to Everest’s Southern Face Basecamp (18,480') will take small groups (8-16 people) across moderate mountain trails to the base of Everest. Along the way, we will stay in cozy teahouse lodges owned by the Sherpa people, and will climb Kala Patthar nearby for a better view of the Everest peak, the highest point on the planet. Guided by Wasfia, you will experience the region through the eyes of someone who has lived and worked there for more than a decade. In addition to trekking, the program includes meditation, and exposes you to the Sherpa peoples’ spiritual perspective on the mountains they call home.

Join Us:  Cost: $7,000. To learn about upcoming trips please email wasfia@resetlead.com to register and for more details. Following registration, all participants will be scheduled for Skype calls with Wasfia to receive their individualized training regime and preparation materials.

Note that 10% of the proceeds will benefit the Nepali community's work to rebuild after the 2015 earthquake.

National Geographic Emerging Explorer and Adventurer of the Year Wasfia Nazreen doesn't just climb for the thrill; she climbs for a cause. The first Bangladeshi to scale the Seven Summits, Wasfia has made it her purpose to brave these climbs for the sake of something larger - for the women of Bangladesh.
